According to letter of 12 March 1854 to Henriette Wulff, Hans Christian Andersen had been in the committee for the "Artists' Carneval in Casino" together with among others the painter Georg Emil Liebert.

Mr. and Mrs. Liebert left Denmark in 1857 for 2 years in order to settle in Germany.
