DescriptionRamon Torres Monos de Luna was a prominent chemical professor at the university of Madrid in the 1850'ies. He was educated together with Dumas, Wurtz and Liebig. He translated German textbooks - and participated in a big congress in Karlsruhe in 1860, where Andersen stayed from the 22 to the 24 September. HCA also met de Luna in Sevilla 20 November 1862.
